Strengthening a person’s resources to improve their long term use. Why not have a data file as to how the different themes might be used with chronic pain management?
Why not have a data file as to how the different themes might be used with chronic pain management? Why reinvent ideas all the time?
My name is Eugene Irvin
I find it amazing that the thoughts and experiences with themes from so many therapists are lost for easy access or oftentimes no access at all.
Designing a data file of different ways that themes might be used with chronic pain management might open up connections that may not be readily apparent. Insights might result.
The data file has to be designed for quick access to ideas rather than it just being an almost inert collection of information. It must be practical and not just in vague generic type terminology. It must be simple in its presentation.
There can be all sorts of reasons a therapist may want to change the theme content in their metaphors used with chronic pain management.
It may be as simple as the therapist wanting to change things to make it more interesting for the person or possibly that they themselves have simply run out of ideas.
I have not done this data file yet but I cannot see why it would not be a good thing to do.
It would not be difficult to do. I will be fascinated by your comments, debate, and especially constructive criticisms.
There is a link to my themes list. I emphasise this is just my list and I am sure others might improve upon it.
Thank you
